Overview

Can we deploy an installation to computers that do not currently have an opened session?

Can we deploy an installation to computers that do not currently have an opened session?

Whereas the target computers are started, off, or do not have an opened user session, you can still deploy your actions towards them. (See Can we schedule a distribution of positions that have not yet started?)

By default, IDEAL Dispatch uses the given Administrator account to perform specified deployment actions so you can fully deploy software on computers that do not have an opened user session.

However, you can, from the running parameters of a distribution, choose to perform actions using the account of the current session. In this case, a current session must be started on the target computer.
