Which OS are compatible with TightVNC?
The computers that we have at our disposal on our newtwork are quite diverse. Of course, all the computers are not running under the same OS (Windows 7 computers, Windows 10 and 2016 Server...)
On which OS is the remote control possible ?
Is it also possible to take the remote control of an host running under a 64-bit Windows version ?
Finally, and even if Windows 10 is not officialy released yet, we actually plan to install this OS on many client computers.
Will the remote control work with windows 10 ?
The TightVNC remote control tool enables to connect on a large palette of OS.
We have modified this program to connect as well on Vista and higher OS (including Windows 7) and on 64-bit OS.
Here is a non-exhaustive recap of the main remote OS compatible with TightVNC.

In addition, you can remote control Linux and Mac OS X systems from our software.
For more details, see our FAQ: Remote Control for Linux - Remote Control for Mac OS X.
Read more for the connection on remote hosts running under Vista (and higher OS).
Nevertheless, some configurations may encounter connection problems, due to their characteristics (firewall, security policy, antivirus, administration rights, UAC, virtualized host, software conflicts, service pack ...)
In that case, and if the problem is persistent, feel free to send us an email at support@pointdev.com by providing as information as possible (software version, OS of your administration computer, OS of the remote host, computers located on the same network or separated by routers and/or firewalls, computers member of the same domain or not ...)
