Executable Action: Remotely installing Acrobat Reader

Example n°14: Remotely installing Acrobat Reader

Remote running means that the program to be installed must be present on another PC in the network. On a file server, for example.

INFORMATION: This example is valid for versions 8.10 to 9.1.0 of Acrobat Reader.

 

You must configure the following arguments:

  • Do not check the Local running checkbox.
  • Select the type of action: Executable File.
  • Indicate the path of the executable file: \\PY\g$\ AdbeRdr810_fr_FR.exe
  • Check the Arguments checkbox and enter: /sAll /rs /msi"/qn /norestart ALLUSERS=2 EULA_ACCEPT=YES SUPPRESS_APP_LAUNCH=YES"
