I need to uninstall Office 2010 on my client PCs. I need to do it in silent mode.

How can I do this using IDEAL Dispatch?

Pre-requisite:

INFORMATION : This example is valid with multiple versions of Microsoft Office

You must set the following arguments:

  • Uncheck the Local execution box.
  • Enter the path of the executable file: \\ideald\packages$\MS OFFICE 2010\x86\setup.exe
  • Check the Arguments box and enter: /uninstall ProPlus /config "\\ideald\packages$\MS OFFICE 2010\x86\ProPlus.WW\SilentUninstallConfig.xml"

SilentUninstallConfig.xml can be:
