Which OS are compatible with TightVNC ?

The computers that we have at our disposal on our newtwork are quite diverse. Of course, all the computers are not running under the same OS (XP computers, Vista and 2003 Server computers ...)

The TightVNC remote control tool enables to connect on a large palette of OS.

We have modified this program to connect as well on Vista and higher OS (including Windows 7) and on 64-bit OS.

Here is a non-exhaustive recap of the main remote OS compatible with TightVNC.

Nevertheless, some configurations may encounter connection problems, due to their characteristics (firewall, security policy, antivirus, administration rights, UAC, virtualized host, software conflicts, service pack ...)
